| When are the games?
The games are on Saturday and Sunday. |

No, we try to schedule a couple of week night games when possible. |
| What if we are away when the season starts?
The coaching staff takes the first 2 weeks to evaluate the players. If your son is not there, it will have a negative effect on his team placement. |
| When does the PYF football season start?
The PYF season starts this year on August 11th
If there are any changes to these dates they will be noted on the PYF website. |
| Equipment |
| What do I do if my player's equipment doesn't fit?
All players should have tried on their equipment the day it was given to them. If equipment does not fit properly please see your head coach. |
| When are equipment handouts?
Equipment handouts are usually on the last weekend of July. Please check the PYF website for any changes to this date. You will be assigned a time! |
| What should players wear to practice?
Check the PYF website home page at http://www.pentucketyouthfootball.org/ before heading out for practice. Information on what to wear to practice that day will be posted. When in doubt, wear full equipment. |
| What kind of shoes should players wear? Cleats or sneakers?
Players should wear regular cleats (not screw-on cleats). |
| General |
| How will we know if a game is cancelled?
Games may be cancelled up to one hour before players are due to arrive. Please check the PYF website before you leave for the game. If you know someone that does not have e-mail or Internet access or may be away from home prior to the game please give them a call to let them know. |
| How does PYF communicate with the players?
The Pentucket Youth Football league is a volunteer organization. With over 150 players and coaches in the Pentucket Youth Football organization, e-mail and the PYF website are the most efficient and effective ways for us to keep in communication with everyone. We realize that not everyone has access to e-mail and can't always check the website for updated information. If this applies to you, try to find a buddy player or parent that can call you or your player if there are any changes to the game or practice schedule. |
| What plays in the PYF playbook should players study?
A team players weighing over 148 pounds and B team players weighing over 113 pounds are linemen and should study the line formations in the playbook.
A team players weighing under 148 pounds and B team players weighing under 113 pounds are ball carriers and should study the ball carrier formations in the playbook. |
| How are players assigned to teams?
Players are assigned to teams by their coaches.

| Where are the practices?
The practices can be at Strawberry Field, Emery St. Field or behind the Pentucket Middle School. |
| Where is Emery Street field?
Emery St is in Merrimac. If you Mapquest 29 Emery St, you will get it. It is also called Town Carriage Park. |
| Where is Strawberry Field?
Strawberry Field is on Center Street in Groveland. If you Mapquest 150 Center st, you will see it. |
